U2 - Achtung Baby Album

The Achtung Baby album proved that that the immensely popular arena rock group of the 80s could transition to the 90s pretty effortlessly. With its sonic synths and clubby rhythms, Achtung Baby is one of the U2’s most experimental albums, yet also remains highly accessible. The lyrics are somewhat dark and introspective and the music incredibly catchy thanks to Larry Mullen Jr. and Adam Clayton. But the songs are not just great individually—when you add them together you get a complete picture of where the band was at at the time. The album is incredibly focused and its hard to point to any tracks that stand out, since they are all quite exceptional. This is one of the few albums that has no cuts that are just average.
