ALBUM REVIEW
After taking a break from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Neil Young released his third solo effort, After the Gold Rush album . With tremendous passion and social consciousness, Young whines on tracks such as “Southern Man” attacking redneck racism, and the heartbreaking ballad “Tell me Why.” Young rotates in members of the ever changing Crazy Horse band to create sounds of folk, county, and soul. Young croons about love, pain, and politics. Neil Young’s After the Gold Rush album is some of his best work yet.
