Steely Dan - Aja Album

ALBUM REVIEW
Walter Becker and Donald Fagen offer the Aja album as Steely Dan’s crowning achievement. With its beautiful melodies and first class production performances, they have created a most unique flavor where intricate jazz meets Southern California rock to make for a ageless masterpiece. This album should be on the top of the list for everyone who appreciates the beauty of music. The album is full of complex musical concepts which remind the progressive rock fan some of the common maneuvers in classic progressive rock albums. With such tunes as "Deacon Blues," "Peg," and "Josie” that you still here all the time on classic rock radio stations, it’s definitely yuppie music, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t go down smoother than any other album you’ve heard.
