The At Budokan album was intended for Cheap Trick’s Japanese fans that made them heroes half a world away, but with its release in the United States, the tongue in cheek rockers went from an opening act to headliners. The highlights of the album are “I Want You to Want Me,” a radio mainstay, and "
Surrender". The song jumps out at you with Robin Zander's powerful vocals, Rik Nielsen's meaty guitar licks, Bun E. Carlos' steady drumming and Tom Petersen's harmony vocals and pumping bass.
