Josh Groban - Awake Album

Josh Groban’s third studio disc, the Awake album is arguably his most personal. Groban uses his silky smooth voice—an instrument on its own—to mine his own experiences and emotions. The production and sound are also different from his previous two albums and have a more of a jazzy, bluesy feel than the straight ahead pop he once performed. Tracks to note include "So She Dances" and then there's "In Her Eyes", but one that'll stop you in your tracks is "Lullaby", written by Groban and Dave Matthews, and sung a cappella with Ladysmith Black Mambazo. With the Awake album the Josh Groban phenomenon definitely continues.
