Miles Davis - Bitches Brew Album

ALBUM REVIEW
Dealing with supercharged, electric free jazz, the Bitches Brew album is the musical picture of Miles Davis jumping into the future of jazz with reckless abandon. Miles Davis fans and regular listeners were either unpleasantly shocked to death by this album or labeled it the work of a genius. The truth is it was not that shocking and actually represented an evolution in Davis’ music that came about because of all the new musical risks his contemporaries were taking (Hendrix, Sly & The Family Stone). It brought Davis back to a musical scene that was beginning to forget about him. It also provided him with the opportunity to explore electronic and free sounds.
