Bob Dylan - Blood On the Tracks Album

The Blood on the Tracks album is definitely one of Dylan’s masterpieces. It’s so good that inevitably when someone praises a new Dylan album they call it “the best thing since Blood on the Tracks.’ The magnificent lyrics on these tunes were apparently inspired by Dylan’s failed marriage and a tour with the Band that reignited the icon’s creativity..The album's epic songs are well known, but its real standouts are the shorter numbers--"You're a Big Girl Now," the flawless blues "Meet Me in the Morning," and the sweetly disturbing "Buckets of Rain." The writing simply exceeds all expectations with a never before heard maturity and depth.
