Bob Marley & The Wailers - Burnin' Album

The Wailer’s second effort, the Burnin album shows Bob Marley and the crew going beyond their base and appealing to seasoned rock fans. This album caught the band in a transition period when Peter Tosh and Bunny would leave the group and Bob Marley would take over as the frontman, and it has Marley’s unmistakable imprint. The album features the original version of "I Shot the Sheriff," which had spread reggae's outlaw ethos and staccato, propulsive sound on Eric Clapton's hit cover.
