Joni Mitchell casting off her earth mother folk roots and proclaiming herself a modern, complicated woman with a bevy of jazzy pop tunes that really captured the music loving public's imagination. Mitchell was still concerned about relationships, but her canvass was no longer ethereal and stately, but specific locales that people you could relate to. "

Free Man in Paris" are the best-known tracks and represented her romantic side with full-bridled electric guitars. This is a must have for any pop fan.
