Cream - Disraeli Gears Album

The Disraeli Gears album is absolutely Cream’s finest and established the trio as a rock super group. Cream takes on the blues with psychedelic-era abandon, conjuring up such classics as "Tales of Brave Ulysses," "SWLABR," "Strange Brew," and "Sunshine of Your Love"—without breaking a sweat. Eric Clapton heartily indulges in the mainstay of psychedelic rock, the wah-pedal guitar, while Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce contribute their totally unique style on drums and bass, respectively. All three contribute to the vocals, though Clapton and Bruce share most of the leads. Cream paved the way for numerous rockers that came in their wake and for that alone, this album deserves a listen.
