Pixies - Doolittle Album

The Pixies were one of the great alternative bands of the late 80s and the Doolittle album was one of their best. Combining scorching guitars, interesting and unexpected arrangements and clever lyrics, the album was clearly a musical breath of fresh air during the musically stultifying period of time. The vocals of Black Francis coupled with the softer and unique voice of Kim Deal was purely delightful, with some truly exceptional and memorable songs like "Debaser", "Wave of Mutilation" and "Here Comes Your Man" Though it is unconventional, this is a sturdy album that any serious music lover will value.
