The Dreaming Out Loud album confirms that OneRepublic is more than just a temporary MySpace phenomenon. This band has the chops to stand in there with anyone as they prove on “Apologize,” (which Timbaland remixed with much success), and other tunes like “All We Are," "Prodigal," "Mercy," and most notably second single "Stop & Stare. What sets this group apart is the strength of their lyrics, which focus on universal subjects that help them connect with the listener. The most evocative song on `Loud' is without question "Come Home," as Tedder tells the story of a relationship and the battle for love.
