T. Rex - Electric Warrior (Expanded & Remastered) Album

The Electric Warrior album is possibly T. Rex’s best as it builds on the early acoustic guitar work of Mark Bolan with a rock rhythm section composed of drummer Bill Legend and bassist Steve Currie--and luxuriant arrangements by producer Tony Visconti. The album boasts such instant rock classics as the pulsating "Bang a Gong (Get It On)," "Jeepster,” with its outstanding guitar riff, and "Mambo Sun," the kickoff song. Even though the band was never a sensation in the US, their influence was undoubtedly felt in the 80's as T. Rex had a big impact on the British new wave invasion bands of that era. Anyone with even a passing interest in British rock should have this album in their collection.
