The White Stripes - Elephant Album

Jack and Meg White push the boundaries of their creativity with the Elephant album, showing that they have matured and are not afraid to take musical risks. In doing so, The Stripes brilliantly mix up styles and alternate between hard rock and softer tracks without sounding forced at all. The tunes range from the danceable "Seven Nation Army," to the acoustic "In the Cold, Cold Night" with Meg on lead vocals, to the punkish "Girl, You Have No Faith in Medicine." My personal favorite and the most original song on the CD is “Well It’s True That We Love One Another,” which features threesome vocal tradeoffs and clever wordplay by Jack, Meg and guest vocalist Holly Golightly. All in all, this is an album not to be missed.
