Jeff Buckley - Grace Album

ALBUM REVIEW
Jeff Buckley’s Grace album was most certainly the debut of 1994 with Beck’s distinctive vocals, his lyrical honesty and pleading, melancholy almost ethereal music. Stylistically Beck is reminiscent of most 80's alternative rock bands like the Cocteau Twins-but really his sound (other than cover songs) is unique to him. Highlights include the soaring, epic "Grace" and the rainy-day blues of "Lover You Should've Come Other" and the wistful "Mojo Pin." Beck gave his heart and soul to this album and his untimely death robbed us of a musical genius.
