The third studio album released in 1969 by Creedence Clearwater Revival, titled the Green River album is one of the bands best. This album comes equip with blistering guitar rifts, a roadhouse-rhythm and John Fogerty’s unforgettable vocals. By doing away with the lengthy jams sessions CCR was used to, Fogerty’s song writing skills were tested. With hits such as “Lodi” and “Bad Moon Rising,” Fogerty sounds better then ever. Fogerty also produced the album with a gritty and easy sound that sounded as if the band had put it together in their garage. CCR sounds great on the Green River album giving their fans the gritty rock and roll they deserve.
