George Strait - It Just Comes Natural Album

At 53, and still a working artist, George Strait was recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. With the “It Just Comes Natural” album you can tell that this was not a premature move. George Strait simply has no peers in country music in terms of his consistency and ability to push past the mainstream country themes of God, family and country, without alarming the traditionalists. Many of the songs are so splendid they almost catch you off guard. Two of my favorites were “Come on Joe,” which has the theme that the memory of the dead never leaves the living and “Wrapped,” about the sudden recognition of an old flame. But all of the songs are excellent in the “It Just Comes Natural album, even on first listen.
