Incubus - Light Grenades Album

The Light Grenades album features a mainstream rock band that has only gotten better with time. This is a big improvement over the Incubus’s last release and features a lead singer—Brandon Boyd—who is not afraid to tackle affairs of the heart in a fresh and also poignant way. The first track, “Quicksand” pretty much sums it up when Boyd sings that some people fall in love and “touch the sky” while other fall in love and find themselves drowning in quicksand. Other notable songs include the touching “Dig” and “Anna Molly,” the first single off the Light Grenades album. Overall this disc is a great treat for any Incubus fan who mistakenly thought that the group had peaked in 2003.
