David Bowie - Low Album

ALBUM REVIEW
In a career that has been about breaking new ground, the Low album is arguably Bowie’s finest hour. It marked the beginning of a terrific collaboration with soundscape specialist Brian Eno and showed that Bowie, once again, could change personas as often as other people change their underwear. The album is a compelling collection of styles, ranging from pure, delicious pop ("Speed of Life", "Sound and Vision") to post-punk ("Breaking Glass", "What in the World") to R&B flavored rock ("Be My Wife"), ambient jazz ("Art Decade", "Weeping Wall") and even classical ("Warszawa"). Despite the stylistic variations, the album presents a unified vision and one that influenced countless 80s new wave bands.
