Metallica - Master of Puppets (Bonus Tracks) Album

The Master of Puppets album is arguably Metallica’s best effort and is a defining album in thrash metal. This is complex, intelligent music that is thematically focused on power and how it is abused. It is both lyrically and musically insightful, and plays fast although it clocks in at over an hour. Highlights include Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" told from the point of view of an institutionalized inmate and "Disposable Heroes" offered from the perspective of a soldier. There is not a single dull moment on this album as waling guitars and pounding drums are expertly meshed with classically influenced arrangements. A must have for any metal enthusiast.
