In their sophomore effort, the More Songs About Buildings and Food album, the Talking Heads expand their range to include a more organically rhythmic side of their repertoire. Jerry Harrison's keyboards play a major role throughout the album, most notably on the group’s spirited hit cover of Al Green's "Take Me to the River,” and David Byrne’s lead vocals are more relaxed and comfortable than ever before. Other highlights include “The Big Country” a satire on consumerist America, with a humorous mock-country Western sound and “Found A Job,” with its clear rhythm and blues influences. This is a great follow-up to an inspiring debut that merits a careful listen.
