Professor Longhair - New Orleans Piano Album

The New Orleans Piano album is a great blues disc that had a profound musical impact on all that would follow in many different genres. Many cuts on this album hit like a syncopated thunderbolt including such classics as "In the Night," "Tipitina," and "She Walks Right In,” which are among the coolest tunes you'll ever hear--no matter what kind of music you like. Longhair was an original and a genius, and this is his best stuff. I cannot say enough enthusiastic things about this album--words fail me. Plus, it's a whole lot of fun! If this music doesn't make you tap your feet, you may actually be dead.
