Roxy Music - Siren Album

Roxy Music's Siren album was made during a time when the band was in a state of flux, but one that its members clearly relished. Straddling the worlds between glam-pop, beat-heavy dance tunes and Moody Bluesish rock and roll, Bryan Ferry and company came up with solid batch of classic and listenable pop melodies that did not insult your intelligence and was also very pleasing to the ears even after repeated listens. Siren, like its name, is hard to resist. "Love Is The Drug," shows Roxy's musical strengths and catchy lyrics perfectly, not to mention showcasing Bryan Ferry's amazingly sultry voice.
