Dixie Chicks - Taking the Long Way Album

The Taking the Long Way album is a resurrection of sorts for the Dixie Chicks after all the controversy they sparked. The Chicks sound really great together, and it's great to have them back. The vocal harmonies are really amazing. "The Long Way Around," "Easy Silence" and "Not Ready to Make Nice" are a great three-pack to kick off the package with "Not Ready To Make Nice" expressing their true feelings about the hullabaloo "Lullaby" is the one that gets you all choked up because it is so tender. It's a great comeback for the Chicks.
