ALBUM REVIEW
The Talking Book album reflects the many sides of Stevie Wonder’s musical personality. While it has a bit of an edge no doubt due to Wonder’s dissolving marriage at the time, it also contains a timeless love song—“You Are the Sunshine of My Life”—which would sound corny coming from any other musician and remains a radio staple to this day. Another number one hit was “Superstition,” a pure rocker with a straight ahead jam... And let's not forget the fabulous contributors on this record - Ray Parker, Jr. on "Maybe Your Baby" and Jeff Beck on "Looking for another Love," to name a couple. Stevie's music is incomparable; he is a rare musical genius and master songwriter.
