Jay-Z - The Blueprint Album

The Brooklyn rapper returns in top form in The Blueprint album, While this album has its share of programmed radio hits ("Izzo," "Girls, Girls, Girls") and better-than-average mid-tempo compositions ("Never Change," "Song Cry"), it shows the rapper in a more soulful and introspective light than his previous albums. It just seems like Jay Z is more relaxed maybe because he feels like he is #1 in the rap game. Clearly the best tracks on the CD are the Just Blaze produced, "You Don't Know,” a tale of hustling on the streets and "Renagade" made with Detroit's finest, Eminem. The two go back and forth and tell why they have "Never been afraid to say what's on their mine now, any given time of day.” Good thing for us!
