The Massacre Album Review
In "The Massacre," album, the gangsta ethos is explored and celebrated even more fully than in the rap star's last CD. The main themes here are drugs, sex, murder and guns. (In "In My Hood" 50 Cent retorts "...I don't go nowhere without my strap.) Other standouts include the ultimate diss fest, "Piggy Bank" in which Nas and Fat Joe get the lyrical smack down and "Get in My Car" in which the 50 Cent rhymes about a meaningless fling with A-list actress Vivica Fox. 50 Cent shows clear artistic growth in this album and fans should love it.
