Fugees - The Score Album

"The Score" album shows that the Fugees were a stellar hip hop trio with the chops to branch out into the pop world. They were true performance poets who brought something fresh to the scene in the mid-90s. All the tunes on "The Score" are gems. One standout tune is "How Many Mics" which features the rapping of Wyclef and Pras with lyrics, written by Lauryn Hill. Every time you listen to this song you take something fresh away from it. Another great tune is "Ready or Not" which was massively popular in Great Britain and became a hip hop classic... It's a shame the Fugees split up because they were one of the most talented trios around, but I guess egos got the best of them.
