Billy Joel - The Stranger Album

In 1977 singer and piano man Billy Joel released The Stranger album. After being written off as a one-hit wonder by critics, Joel’s The Stranger album made critics think otherwise. Showing his true New York roots, Joel belted out classic songs such as “Only the Good Die Young,” “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant” and “Just the Way You Are.” The songs recalling Joel’s past in a lower middle-class setting solidified him as one of the biggest rock/pop stars of all time. The Stranger is one of Joel’s best and is an essential album for all music fans.
