Avril Lavigne - Under My Skin Album

The “Under My Skin” album is a stunning sophomore effort from Avril Lavigne. Building upon the teen pop sounds she offered in her debut CD, she now displays a more mature sound and has actually written some of the lyrics to these tracks on her own. The main theme seems to be that though she is being let down in affairs of the heart, she's still a tough, unafraid, rock chick doing her-own-thing. Highlights off the Lavigne album include "Don't Tell Me," a mix of abstinence and girl-power anthem, and “How Does It Feel,” a heartfelt tune about loneliness.
