Crowded House - Woodface Album

Crowded House’s Woodface album features the stellar songwriting duo of Neil and Tim Finn, who remind me of some of the great collaborators of all time—maybe even Lennon and McCartney. Beyond the songwriting, the two work together very well in these hook-laden melodies with beautiful harmonizing. Standouts include the fantastic love song, “It’s Only Natural” and “As Sure As I Am,” which showcases an atmosphere of togetherness. There are also some slower, more reflective tunes that are also stellar. Among them is “How Will You Go,” which I about someone struggling with an unhealthy addiction. All in all, the Woodface album is one of Crowded House’s best.
