Day was known was one of the most influential actresses of the 50’s and 60’s with her singing, dancing, and comedy. Doris Day’s most popular song was published in 1956 called “Que Sera, Sera,” which was written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans. “Que Sera, Sera,” is featured in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1956 film, The Man Who Knew Too Much with Doris Day and James Stewart. The single was released on Columbia Records and hit big on the billboard charts in the US and UK. The song later became Day’s theme song on her comedy show The Doris Day Show. The song went on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
