The First Time mp3 reflects a foot-stomping rock number that takes the listener by storm with a great hook and excellent sing along chorus. The rest of the album that this track is off contains some other hell-raising numbers, but Lifehouse smartly mixes it up with some slower ballads as well. Lifehouse has many critics, but to its credit the band is not going to change for them. They may be a throwback to the 90s, but that is why their fans love them, so I see nothing wrong in it. They are no friends of modern radio friendly rock like Nickelback and Switchfoot, and that’s what makes them so special.
