Camille is a French singer, songwriter and actress from Paris, France. With help of her English Teaching mother Camille quickly picked up the English language. Camille attended the Paris Institute of Political Studies before signing with Virgin Records in 2002. Camille’s first studio album was released in 2004 and was called Le Sac des Filles. In 2004 Camille worked with Mar Collin incorporating g new wave sounds to edgy songs like “Too Drunk to F**K.” In 2005 she released Le Fill, which incorporated a new sound yet again with a string section. On this certified gold album September 11th attacks are mentioned in her song “Pale Septembre.” In 2007 Camille contributed to Disney Pixar’s animated Ratatouille with her song “Le Festin.” This was one of the biggest hits on the album especially because it was by a French singer.
