Fleetwood Mac is a British/ American rock band who formed in 1967. Although the members in the band are ever-changing, the drummer Mic Fleetwood has always been a pillar in the band’s career. “Landslide” was one of Fleetwood Mac’s biggest hits and was written and performed by Stevie Nicks. Nicks wrote the song in 1974 when she was 26 years old, contemplating what to do with her life next. She described the feeling as a “landslide” of her life crashing down upon her. This song represented Nicks’ transformation from her childhood to becoming an adult. In 1998 after much critical acclaim Nicks was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame many say for her beautiful song “landslide.”
