Easily the most well-known band from South Africa, hard rock outfit Seether has scored major hits around the world and in the US, most notably “Broken” mp3, a duet with Amy Lee of Evanescence. Rise Above This mp3 was the second single from the band’s 2007 album, Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces. Rise Above This mp3 was reportedly written by singer/guitarist Shaun Morgan about his brother. Sadly, Morgan’s brother committed suicide shortly before this album was set to be released. The song was written prior to the tragedy, making the emotion of the song even more intense.
