The American Idol victor and the reigning R&B teen heartthrob are the perfect duo to tackle this sweet pop confection and I’m looking forward to some more great musical collaborations.

On the downside, they lyrics to the tune, which is about the end of a love affair, are kind of weepy, and the production is so scrubbed down that at times the tune seems emotionless. But the power and intensity of these two talents cannot be denied and they’ll sweep you up in the song before you know it.
