Piles uses Akon to come across with a catchy chorus for the Hypnotized mp3, which is otherwise totally non-noteworthy. The production for the most part isn’t bad but Plies is a great beat-waster. Couple that with the fact that Plies’ lyrics consists of the same garbage we’ve been hearing for years about crime, sex and money. It’s straight, unoriginal cookie-cutter material.

Everyone knows that life in the ghetto is tough, but wouldn’t you rather hear something innovative and unique about it as opposed to this drivel. It seems every few years rap discovers a new “Piles” who has built up some street cred and gets a record deal. I wish the labels had more stringent standards for who they sign.
