The Lights & Music mp3 is a teaser for Cut Copy’s upcoming sophomore album, In Ghost Colors, and contains all of the elements that make this band so popular on the club circuit. It’s knowingly sleek, slightly detached, and eminently danceable, just like most of the modernist, pop and punk-inflected electronic music that Cut Copy is known and loved for.

The forthcoming In Ghost Colours finds the Melbourne, Australia-based trio as heavily influenced by the sounds of the '80s as ever, as well as working under the watchful eye of Tim Goldsworthy, who produced the album. If Lights & Music is any indication, this Cut Copy and their pounding synths will be around for quiet a while.
