The Wedding Bell mp3, like so many other Beach House tunes, lives and dies on its melody, and as usual, Victoria Legrand delivers another delightful dose with a solid verse and a chorus that conjures up images of Barbara Eden in I Dream of Jeanie with the lyric, “Oh, and your wish is my command.” (Sensitive men will feel a tear forming in their eyes on hearing this one.) Wedding Bell is the centerpiece of Beach House’s latest album and with its buzzing syths and crunching guitars accentuating the lyric it really stands out.

It seems like many bands progress to fast these days in a hurried effort to come out with their own White Album. Beach House and their slow ascension are different and that may be one of the best reasons to listen to Wedding Bell; it doesn’t aspire to be a knockout tune but it will fill you with warm fuzzies.
