Young Jeezy’s producer, Shawty Redd, becomes the next producer turned rapper on the Drifter mp3 off the Jekyll & Hyde album. While Shawty Redd is the mastermind behind Snoop’s Sensual Eruption, his own product seems somewhat lacking because it’s so 80s-ish. Drifter sounds too much like something Cool or Dre might have come up with. However, if you liked Sensual Eruption, you might like this, too.

All in all, I’m not entirely sure that Shawty Redd's transition from scary Halloween beats to '80s disco dance jams is the absolute best idea, but you have to give the producer/rapper his props for trying. And who knows, you might like the vibe once you check it out, so keep an open mind.
