In the Ghetto Girl mp3 we have another young rapper—Mann—picked up by a legendary producer—JR Rotem—to come up with a tune and beat that is totally forgettable. Rap is clearly now just a young man’s game, but it shouldn’t be Mann’s game. The only good thing about this track is Sean Kingston’s contribution; he may be young, too, but he’s still got class and style.
JR Rotem samples the classic Ben E. King tune “Stand By Me” in “Ghetto Girl,” but the two otherwise bear no resemblance. One is an iconic tune sung by a legend and the other is from a fly-by-night 16 year old, whose luck far outweighs his talent.
