In Danny Noriega’s Tainted Love mp3 you really miss out on the whole picture, which was an obviously gay contestant with purple hair who gave one-eyed winks to the guys every time his bangs covered one of his eyes. This is absolutely a massacre of the Soft Cell version of the tune as Danny turned it into something approaching a drama queen’s hissy fit. Danny himself knew he would never make it to the top ten, standing glumly by as he was designated one of the week’s lowest vote getters. As for the judges, Randy loved the arrangement; Paula loved that he’s true to himself; and Simon thought it was horrible and useless and hated the arrangement and everything about it. I have to agree with Simon—Danny was way overmatched in this competition.
