Ezra Koenig’s infectious ''"Hey!''" shouting may just pave the way for a horrific relapse into wallet chains and dangerous elbow dances if this skanking impulse is left unchecked.

Vampire Weekend are too consistently likable and cool for a ska uprising to be more than a passing concern. Lord knows, this is a really bad time to form another ska band. It should be noted however, that Vampire Weekend’s other light faux Afro-pop songs are much better, and also much more ubiquitous.
