From interviews with Plies you can tell he’s pretty hung up on himself, so the Watch Dis mp3 shouldn’t come as a surprise, as it is filled with all kinds of typical hip hop boasts about cars (Hummers), sex and drugs. The assist from T-Pain helps and the beat is pretty infectious, though. Plies is at his best when he gets introspective and although he manages to say meaningful things at certain times, the swag and charisma are undeniable. Whether that’s enough to hold a whole album together, I don’t know.
