With the dynamic duo of T-Pain and Chris Brown, you’re expectations are probably high for the Freeze mp3 and you might find yourself a little disappointed. Teddy and Chris unapologetically aim their sights directly at the 106 & Park crowd with a dance-y tune for T-Pain's upcoming Thr33 Ringz. There' are a lot of the expected elements (girls, auto-tune, getting in on the flow) but also a few things that you wouldn't see coming (beat-box breaks, quality). T-Pain fans will love it and the inevitable top-hat-laden video. T-Pain haters will say it’s just another example of production overtaking talent, particularly with regard to the auto tune elements. Let me just say that most artists use auto tune now, and it shouldn’t be held against them. Teddy and Chris are just doing what it takes to stay competitive in the hip hop world and it doesn’t take anything away from them. So if you want to hate T-Pain, find another reason.
