In the summer of 2009, Black Eyed Peas mastermind Will.i.am made headlines after being involved in a high-profile fight with celeb gossipmonger Perez Hilton. The negative publicity from the incident clearly hasn’t hurt the group, since singles from The E.N.D. just keep rocketing to the top of the charts (“no publicity is bad publicity,” as the saying goes).
