| (EZ-Tracks) - Now, even Britney Spears’ lawyers have had enough—the law firm representing her in her custody fight with K-Fed has asked to be relieved of its duties. The law firm Trope and Trope told a Los Angeles court Wednesday that it didn’t want to work with Spears anymore. The firm says there's been a "breakdown" in communication with the pop princess that makes representing her "impossible," according to the filing, obtained by CelebTV.com and reported on by the Associated Press. Spears and Federline have been battling for months over custody of their sons, 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James. Federline has temporary custody because Spears, who has limited visitation rights, has defied court orders. The two were married in October 2004 and finalized their divorce in July. Britney Spears has been out of the news as of late, but her 16-year-old sister, who stars as a schoolgirl in Nickelodeon's popular TV show "Zoey 101," recently announced that she was pregnant. A high school student who lives in Louisiana, Jamie Lynn Spears reportedly met the father, Casey Aldridge, the son of a Tennessee papermill worker, at church. | ||||||||||||
