| (EZ-Tracks) - “American Idol" fans will be able to download their favorite performances thanks to a new agreement between the Fox talent show and Apple, according to an AP report. Performances by "Idol" semifinalists go on sale on iTunes this week for 99 cents per song, the show's producers and the digital giant recently announced. Full video of the top 12 contestants will be available through the online music store starting March 11 for $1.99. The songs and videos will be posted to iTunes the day after the show airs. Last night, the men's contingent of the Top 24 on the seventh season of American Idol performed tunes from the 60s for viewer votes (and some of them introduced themselves to us for the first time). Ryan Seacrest asked the judges about the season thus far. Randy Jackson said that in the auditions, he saw "more originality in these dudes up here, you know." Paula Abdul called him out for getting three dudes and two mans into that short answer, which is pretty witty for Paula. Simon Cowell said he's looking for "personality, originality, and honestly, you've got to sing well." Tonight, the top 12 women will perform for the TV audience. | ||||||||||||
