Pop Star Pink Divorces Husband

(EZ-Tracks) - Looks like the party’s over for Pink. The 28-year-old singer and her husband Carey Hart have filed for divorce. Known for songs such as “Get This Party Started,” Pink proposed to her motocross racing beau after they’d been dating for four years. Divorcing after two years of marriage, the duo has stated that their busy careers are the reason for the break-up. The couple is insisting that the split is friendly, and have issued statements saying that they’ll remain best friends. According to the Daily Telegraph, a statement issued by Pink representative Michele Schweitzer states, “While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.” Similarly, Pink posted a blog message on her website telling fans, "This break up is not about cheating, anger, or fighting. I know it sounds like cliche bulls***, but we are best friends."

It’s beyond lame to get divorced because of your job. If you let your career ruin your marriage, then it’s pretty obvious your heart wasn’t in it to start with.
